CIAO AND CHOW

I’ve been fortunate to work with some really high-caliber talent this year, including recording artist, actor and model Nadia Lanfranconi.

There’s a great book called “Twentieth Century-Fox: Inside the Photo Archive,” which is filled with behind-the-scenes stills from the studio’s illustrious history. This shot reminds me of one of those photos: a glamorous and hard-working actor in between takes. Come to think of it, that book is dedicated to the late Patrick Miller, who used to run 20th Century-Fox’s photo archive. I would sometimes fill in for him when he went on vacation. A great guy who loved movies.

During this photo shoot, it was fun listening to Nadia, who is from Italy, talk about the differences between native-Italian and Italian-American cuisine. Thanks to her professionalism, she made the session effortless.
